Weekday Nursery School is licensed by the Department of Education of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania State Board of Private Academic Schools. All of our teachers are state certified and are specialists in Early Childhood Education. They are assisted by classroom aides to help facilitate the learning process.

Chris earned her BSED at West Chester University and has been working with young children for over 25 years.  All three of Chris's children attended WNS.  She was on the Board of Directors as a Parent Representative before she began teaching at WNS.  For the past 18 years, Chris has taught the Half Pints and 3 year old classes.  Chris has been the WNS director for the past 11 years and still loves going to work every day!

Kim attended Wheaton College in Illinois where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and has since gained her PA Teachers Certification.  As a parent of 4 children, Kim is well aware of the joys and challenges of raising children.  WNS has been blessed to have Kim as a teacher for the past 14 years.  In this time, she has taught both the 3 and 4 year old classes.

Christina lives in Yardley with her husband and two daughters, one of which attended WNS.  She is a  graduate of Pennsbury High School and Rider University, where she studied Early Childhood Education.  Christina has loved being a teacher at WNS for the past 10 years.

Teacher Aide

Jill has worn many hats at WNS over the past 15 years.  Her two boys attended WNS in 2005 and since then, she has served on the Board as Parent Representative, Member at Large, Chairperson, and Enrollment Secretary.  In 2015, she took on the role of Teacher Aide.  Although she has loved every role at WNS, she claims being in the classroom with the kids is her favorite!

JOANIE LAYDEN - Enrollment Secretary

AMY KIELEY - Treasurer

I had the pleasure of being part of Weekday Nursery School for 9 consecutive years. The dedication of the teachers and the deep care they had for our children is second to none.  My children were well prepared to enter Kindergarten.  All three had the confidence to move into the "big" school for Kindergarten.  We miss our friends at Weekday and cherish the many memories.
